Jacobe Smith Issues Fierce Challenge to Kevin Holland Following UFC 332 Victory

Jacobe Smith has directly addressed Kevin Holland with a forceful message after securing a win at UFC 332.

Smith was originally slated to fight Holland in July, but an injury forced 'Trailblazer' to withdraw. Smith was then matched against UFC newcomer Bruce Whitehead at UFC 332 this past Saturday.

Missing the scheduled bout with Holland was a disappointment for Smith, especially when he was instead booked against an untested opponent in Whitehead. After achieving a first-round knockout, Smith made his intentions clear regarding Holland, aiming to finally get that fight made.

"I want to kill Kevin Holland," Smith stated to UFC News post-fight. "I want to murder Kevin Holland. He made me go through two training camps. I'm building my life outside of fighting too, and to put that on hold to prepare for a fight, only for it to be called off last minute and rescheduled, you accepted twice, and then you don't show up in Utah. Your foot is still injured, yet you're accepting fights with others. You better hope Uros Medic takes you out, because if you win, I'm coming for you."

This is a direct and aggressive challenge from Jacobe Smith, who intends to hold Kevin Holland accountable for backing out of their previous encounters. While Smith has openly called him out, the future of this potential matchup remains uncertain.

Smith maintains a consistent message for any opponent he faces next.

Even though Smith prioritizes a fight with Holland, his general approach remains the same for any upcoming opponent.

Smith emphasized his pursuit of definitive finishes, irrespective of who steps into the octagon with him.

"This is the same statement I've been making. You need to be ready to fight if you think you can step into the cage with Jacobe and make it the full 15 minutes," Smith added.

Jacobe Smith holds a professional record of 13 wins and 0 losses, with a 4-0 record in the UFC. All four of his UFC victories have ended by stoppage.
