Khaos Williams Aims for Knockout Against Roberto Soldic at UFC 332
Khaos Williams anticipates facing Roberto Soldic in his UFC debut.
Soldic, a former KSW welterweight and middleweight champion, held significant appeal. After a stint with ONE Championship, he signed with the UFC. Williams admits he's not extensively familiar with Soldic but acknowledges his reputation.
“I wasn’t familiar with him, but he has some hype behind him,” Williams stated on Just Scrap Radio on BJPENN.com. “He’s a tough dude, an honorable opponent. We have to go out and perform for the fans. … I see him like everyone else; you can be 30-0, we’re all human, you have to get in front of me.”
When Soldic joined the UFC, the promotion offered Williams as his first opponent. Williams found this surprising but understands the UFC's reasoning, expecting an exciting matchup.
“I was surprised, but at the end of the day, I know what I bring to the table, and it’s a fun fight,” Williams said. “The matchmakers know what they are doing. At the end of the day, I know what I bring to the table; matchups make fights, and the UFC knows it will be a good fight. They know what I am coming to do. You can’t prey on a predator; I’m a predator, man. It doesn’t matter who they put in front of me.”
Khaos Williams Ready to Make a Statement at UFC 332
While Roberto Soldic is known for his knockout power, Khaos Williams is confident in his own striking and expects to secure the KO victory.
“It’s a fight; I do what I do. Everybody knows, when you fight me, one mistake you have to pay. We are coming to fight. … He’s a knockout artist, I’m a knockout artist; I’m not going to sleep, so I see him going to sleep and leaving victorious in a dangerous, ‘Khaos’ fashion,” Williams declared.
Following a potential win, Williams hopes to face a ranked opponent. He also indicated he might fight again before the end of 2026.
“Absolutely. If he beats me, they are going to give him a ranked guy, so if I beat him, I should get a ranked guy,” Williams stated.
