Street Fighter 6: Arjun's Story Begins with an Accusation

Capcom offers a glimpse into the storyline of Arjun, the upcoming playable character for Street Fighter 6, set to release on October 13, 2026. Arjun is characterized as a fighter with an average skill curve, proving effective in mid-range combat.

Arjun's narrative in Street Fighter 6 kicks off with a dark turn: the new combatant is falsely accused of murdering his colleague. This accusation forces him to become a fugitive, driven by the objective to find the real perpetrator and exact revenge. Arjun, a police officer, now has a clear mission. The brief preview of his SF6 backstory confirms that the victim and Arjun's partner was named Karna, dismissing earlier fan speculation that pointed to Dhalsim's pupil, Mahesh.

Karna's dying words to Arjun reveal that the killer is male and possesses a unique power. Furthermore, they suggest the revolver found at the scene was not the cause of death. Potential suspects within the context of Street Fighter 6's lore could include M. Bison and JP, given their ruthlessness and potent abilities, though the clues might also foreshadow an entirely new character. Fans will witness the start of this drama with Arjun's release on October 13th.
