Signal Veil: Chilean Studio Time Hunters Reveals New Survival Horror Title
Seraphini Productions, known for the Broken Lore horror game series, has teamed up with Chilean indie studio Time Hunters to develop a new survival horror game called Signal Veil.
The game features an anime aesthetic and puts players in control of Aki, a teenager who begins experiencing supernatural events after inheriting her mother's old mobile phone. This device becomes key to investigating disappearances at her school, uncovering its secrets, and confronting terrifying creatures.
Developers describe Signal Veil as a classic survival horror experience with a third-person camera. The perspective shifts to first-person when using the phone, a mechanic that brings to mind the Fatal Frame series.
The development of this game in Chile is noteworthy, adding to the country's growing presence in the survival horror genre, following the success of Dual Effect Games' Tormented Souls. The creators hope to see more Latin American studios enter this genre.
Signal Veil does not yet have a release date. It is planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
