As the playoffs approach, Blois is bolstering its team. Following the calf injury sustained by Mathieu Ugolin, ADA announced on Wednesday the signing of Nobel Bongou-Colo as a medical substitute. He will begin his tenure this Friday with a crucial away game against Évreux, a game of high importance for both teams.
Bongou-Colo is no stranger to the club, having previously played for the Blois team in NM2 nineteen years ago. The familiar green and white colors are likely to bring back fond memories. His career includes a significant stint with CSP Limoges, where he clinched two French championship titles in 2014 and 2015. It was during this period that he also earned his first call-ups to the French national team.
Blois coach David Morabito expressed his thoughts on the signing: “Nobel has been training with us for over a month and has gradually integrated into the team’s dynamic. He now officially joins us with a clearly defined role: to bring his top-level experience, his winning mentality, and his communication skills to benefit the collective. His arrival is a logical continuation and support for the group, without disrupting the balance established since the beginning of the season. I am convinced that his presence and his experience will be valuable assets to support the team in this final stretch.”
