Preview Inter Milan Reaches Agreement on Personal Terms with Solet and Muharemovic

Inter Milan is actively building for the future of their defense, with reports indicating imminent agreements for Sassuolo’s Tarek Muharemovic and Udinese player Oumar Solet.

Following their recent Scudetto victory, Inter is preparing for the upcoming season. President Beppe Marotta is diligently seeking replacements for Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij.

Inter Nears Deals for Solet and Muharemovic

According to reports from Cronache di Spogliatoio, Inter has reached an agreement on personal terms with Udinese defender Oumar Solet, a player who has been on their radar for some time. The clubs still need to finalize a transfer fee, which may prove challenging due to interest from clubs like Milan, Juventus, and Newcastle United. Solet, while open to other offers, is reportedly prioritizing a move to Inter this summer. The expected transfer fee is around €25 million.

Transfer expert Nicolò Schira also reports that Inter has agreed to personal terms with Sassuolo defender Tarek Muharemovic. The proposed contract would extend until June 2031, with an annual salary of €2.2 million. Inter is exploring a deal involving a loan with an obligation to buy, potentially in February 2027, effectively deferring the payment. Sassuolo, known for its financial stability, has previously engaged in similar arrangements. Juventus, however, retains a 50% sell-on clause for Muharemovic, which could position them to potentially recall the Bosnia and Herzegovina international.
