Henry Cejudo Eyes Dean The Great After Misfits Boxing Win Over Javon Walton

Henry Cejudo is still focused on a fight with Nurideen “Dean The Great” Shabazz.

Shabazz was scheduled to fight Cejudo last Saturday but withdrew due to an injury. Cejudo then faced and defeated Javon Walton via split decision in the Misfits Boxing main event. Tony Ferguson also retained his middleweight title on the same night.

Speaking with Fred Beck of “Fred Talks Fighting,” Cejudo expressed his continued desire for a bout with Shabazz, calling him out for avoiding the fight.

“Deen ‘The Duck’ owes me a fight,” Cejudo stated. “That’s what he does, and it’s time for me to put that duck to sleep. Stop calling him ‘Deen The Great,’ call him ‘Deen The B*tch.’ He needs to show up. If he can’t, then just stream; don’t talk. You’re not a boxer then. If you’re not willing to fight, just stream and have fun kissing your boyfriend Adrien ‘Boner’.”

Cejudo has been active since retiring from professional MMA, participating in freestyle wrestling and influencer boxing. He hopes to secure a fight with Shabazz soon.

Shabazz lost a unanimous decision to Amado Vargas in a boxing match late last year. It remains uncertain if he will agree to a rescheduled fight with Cejudo.
