Darren Till Plans Bold Callouts After Yoel Romero Fight at BKFC 94
Darren Till intends to make a significant statement against Yoel Romero at BKFC 94 this Saturday.
Till headlines the event in Manchester, England, facing Romero. In the lead-up, the fighters engaged in a four-minute stare-down. Till explained this was to demonstrate his refusal to back down.
“I think it just got to that point where no one’s turning away,” Till told MMAFighting. “I don’t go off faceoff energy and stuff like that. But he broke character first; he was speaking to me, chewing his gum hard. I was just on my own thing. I’m not going to turn away. I’m going to show you exactly what I’m here to do to you, as much as you are to do to me. All that stuff about ‘I’m scared of you.’ Well, look now, who’s scared? I enjoyed it, too. He is a scary guy.”
Despite Romero being 49, Till doesn't consider age a factor, recognizing Romero's dangerous capabilities. He anticipates this could be the most formidable BKFC fight yet, given Romero’s continued strength and power.
Darren Till Wants to Fight Everyone
While acknowledging Romero's danger, Till is confident he will secure a knockout victory at BKFC 94.
Should Till win, he plans to use the microphone to call out fighters from all promotions, inviting them to compete in BKFC for the toughest challenges.
“That would be my moment to get on the mic and just call everyone out from every organization,” Till stated. “I’d just say, ‘Everyone come here. All the guys from ONE FC, all the guys from PFL/MVP, get your ass over here and fight me.’ That’s what my speech is going to be when I knock Yoel out. I’m going for it.”
Till holds a 1-0 record in BKFC, with a previous KO win over Aaron Chalmers.
