A significant free update is coming to Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 on May 28th, coinciding with the arrival of Ingrid. Among the new free content, players will find additions for avatars and the highly anticipated DriveTech Wear outfits. These new outfits are expected to be a common sight in official esports events and major tournaments, particularly where strict dress codes are enforced. While not currently a mandatory requirement, it’s hoped they won’t become so.
DriveTech Wear: Free Outfits Arriving with the Ingrid Update
The DriveTech Wear outfits, first announced in March, will be integrated into Street Fighter 6 this week, with each character receiving one. These attires feature sporty designs and come in two distinct color options: a blue and yellow combination, or a red, black, and white alternative. The designs are centered around a sports theme, with most characters sporting variations of the same basic t-shirt style.
Street Fighter 6 Season 3 Characters
The third season of Street Fighter 6 is concluding this week. Throughout the past year, the season saw the addition of Sagat, C. Viper, Alex, and now Ingrid. These characters, all returning from previous installments of the Street Fighter franchise, have been updated with new designs and combat animations. The release order for these four DLC characters in Season 3 of Street Fighter 6, who will also receive their third outfit on May 28th, was as follows:
- Sagat: Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
- C. Viper: Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
- Alex: Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
- Ingrid: May 28, 2026.
