The Witcher universe has been buzzing lately. With anticipation for The Witcher 5, the recent release of Reigns: The Witcher, and excitement for a new game from the director of the previous installment, there’s a lot to keep track of. This announcement concerns that last point. As the successful Blood and Wine DLC for The Witcher 3 approaches its 10th anniversary, CDPR is set to celebrate with a special presentation. This has fueled rumors that a new DLC for the beloved older game might be on the horizon.
Official social media posts for the saga detailed the event. While no explicit mention of surprises or special announcements was made, players are brimming with hope.
The presentation, dubbed an “anniversary stream” for The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine, will feature art director Kacper Niepokólczycki and writer Magdalena Zych. It is scheduled to air on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the following times:
- Mexico: 11:00 a.m.
- Colombia, Peru, Ecuador: 12:00 p.m.
- Chile: 1:00 p.m.
- Argentina: 2:00 p.m.
- Spain: 7:00 p.m.

It’s important to reiterate that it’s not definitively confirmed whether any announcements regarding a supposed new DLC for The Witcher 3 will be made during this presentation. Whispers suggest that this unconfirmed DLC could be in development at Fool’s Theory, the studio currently working on the remake of the first game in the saga.
