We’ve been thoroughly enjoying how Fortnite has been developing its storyline lately. While the narrative in battle royale titles like this often takes a backseat for most players, there are those of us who are captivated by the lore and characters within this universe. We’re especially intrigued by the Dark Traveler’s plans, his war against The Seven, and the involvement of the Ice King in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, so we won’t be missing the finale event, ‘Ruptura’. We’ll provide all the details so you can join in.
An interesting aspect of this event is that the team you joined at the beginning of the season will alter your experience. Everything suggests that members of the Ice King’s team will face off against members of The Foundation’s team to determine the definitive winner of this rivalry war.
The ‘Ruptura’ event, concluding Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the following times depending on your region:
- Mexico: 5:00 p.m.
- Colombia, Peru, Ecuador: 6:00 p.m.
- Chile: 7:00 p.m.
- Argentina: 8:00 p.m.
- Spain: 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6
The event doors will open 40 minutes prior. You can log in early to secure your spot on the servers and avoid missing any of the action.
Once the event concludes, Fortnite will begin preparations for the arrival of Season 3. At the moment, we don’t know if it will start immediately or if there will be a maintenance period. It’s possible we’ll have to wait until the morning of Saturday, June 6, to play the new season, but we might also be enjoying it on Friday night itself.
