Reports suggest that while Allegri will not be resigning, his exit is considered almost certain. The club is planning a complete restructuring of its managerial and directorial staff, with Igli Tare, Giorgio Furlani, and Geoffrey Moncada also likely to depart, effectively dismantling the team assembled last summer.
Allegri a Leading Candidate for Napoli and Italy Positions
Two primary coaching opportunities are emerging as the most probable next steps for the 58-year-old manager.
The first is with Napoli, whose current coach, Antonio Conte, has already announced his departure. Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, has a long-standing admiration for Allegri and has nearly reached an agreement with him in the past.
