Netflix has officially confirmed the production of the third season of its highly anticipated live-action One Piece series. Following the successful premiere of the second season in March, fans have eagerly awaited news regarding the continuation of the Straw Hat Pirates' adventures.

The new season is officially titled "One Piece: The Alabasta Battle" and is slated for release in 2027. Significant changes are underway behind the scenes, with Ian Stokes and Joe Tracz stepping into the roles of co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers for this new installment. This restructuring follows the departure of former showrunner Matt Owens, who left due to personal health reasons. Joe Tracz, known for his work on the "Percy Jackson" series, had already joined the One Piece creative team during its second season.
The cast for the third season will introduce several key characters, with new actors confirmed for their roles:
- Cole Escola will portray Bon Clay.
- Xolo Maridueña will take on the role of Portgas D. Ace.
