Co-streaming Restrictions for Capcom Cup 12 Street Fighter 6 Finals
Capcom has issued official guidelines for content creators regarding co-streaming and content creation for Capcom Cup 12, set to take place in Japan from March 11-15, 2026. The developer has outlined specific rules on when prior permission is or is not required.
Permitted Content
Co-streaming and the creation of clips without prior authorization are permitted for the Capcom Cup 12 group stage qualifiers, scheduled from March 11-13, 2026. This allowance also extends to the Street Fighter League: World Championship 2025 qualifier on March 13, 2026. All content derived from these stages must explicitly state that it is not officially endorsed by Capcom.
Restricted Content
The finals of both tournaments, taking place on March 14 and 15, 2026, are designated as pay-per-view (PPV) events. Consequently, Capcom strictly prohibits the sharing of footage, co-streaming, or publishing of clips from matches on these dates across any platform without explicit prior authorization.
These restrictions will remain in effect throughout the tournament period and until March 23, 2026. Non-compliance with these rules will be considered a copyright infringement, leading to legal action and content removal.
Post-Event Availability
Following the exclusivity period, Capcom will make the content freely available on YouTube and Twitch. After this, the use of footage will be permitted, though initially only for English-language broadcasts. All interested parties must adhere to Capcom's Video Policy at all times.
