Following the recent unveiling of Ingrid in a new trailer, Capcom has announced the SFL Mascot Design Contest. This global competition aims to find the official mascot for the Street Fighter League (SFL), engaging the Fighting Game Community (FGC) artist scene as the fourth competitive season of Street Fighter 6 approaches.

How to Participate in the Street Fighter League (2026) Mascot Design Contest

Artists interested in the SFL Mascot Design Contest must submit their entries by May 6, 2026. Participation is via X (formerly Twitter); participants should follow the official @CAPCOM_eSports account and post their artwork using the hashtag #SFLMascot.

For submissions to be considered valid, digital files must adhere to the following specifications:

  • Minimum resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels (16:9 aspect ratio).
  • Format: PNG, in RGB color mode, with a resolution of 72 dpi.
  • The artwork must include the character's name, a full-body view, and a design element inspired by the official SFL logo. The original colors and structure of the SFL logo must not be altered.

AI-Generated Images Are Prohibited

Capcom has explicitly forbidden the use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. Following past incidents where AI-generated entries led to disqualifications, the company will require original working files (e.g., .psd format) from finalists to verify human authorship of the designs. Only original creations by individuals aged 13 years or older will be accepted.

Winner Selection Process

A jury comprising Capcom staff and the SFL operations team will evaluate submissions based on originality and implementation feasibility. The winning design will be professionally re-illustrated for official use. In addition to recognition, participants will receive a special in-game title, while the grand prize winner will be awarded an exclusive, unique title. Results are expected to be announced progressively between May and June 2026.
