Black Cat & White Fox Debut in Marvel Rivals Season 7: Full Updates Revealed

NetEase has unveiled the exciting details for Marvel Rivals Season 7, which is set to introduce two highly anticipated characters, Black Cat and White Fox, as new playable heroes. This new season is scheduled to launch on Friday, March 20, 2026. A cinematic trailer accompanied the announcement, showcasing both heroines battling for a mystical artifact within a museum.

The storyline for this season delves deeper into the arrival of forces from the year 2099 into present-day New York. Faced with a temporal plague originating from Alchemax and a surge of new vigilantes, Mayor Wilson Fisk declares martial law. Amidst the chaos, Felicia Hardy (Black Cat) is dispatched to steal a mystical tablet that Fisk believes holds the power to control the situation. Simultaneously, Ami Han (White Fox) arrives with a mission to rescue her friend, Luna Snow.

White Fox will be the first character to join the roster, becoming available on March 20 with the season's launch. Classified as a Strategist, she can heal allies, damage foes, and absorb Kumiho energy to empower her teammates or charm opponents. Her abilities also include teleporting directly to allies, and her ultimate transforms her into a nine-tailed fox to suppress enemies while healing and buffing her companions.

In addition to the new characters, the update will introduce a new Convergence map: Lower Manhattan. This map will become available a couple of weeks after the season's launch, specifically on Thursday, April 2.

Black Cat is slated to make her entrance during the second half of Season 7. Her specific abilities and role will be revealed closer to her release date.

Other significant new features and updates arriving with Season 7 include:

• An album system designed to organize photo mode captures taken in Times Square.
• A new joint emote featuring Jeff and Deadpool, which will be free for players who log in between April 1 and April 3.
• A selection of new accessories.
• Updates to team abilities, introducing new synergies for White Fox with Luna Snow, and Storm with Adam Warlock. Conversely, existing synergies between Storm/Jeff and Adam Warlock/Luna Snow will be removed.
• Balance adjustments for several characters, including Deadpool, Elsa Bloodstone, Hulk, Blade, Black Panther, and Daredevil.
• Various general improvements and adjustments to core game mechanics and systems.

Developers will release an update video (in English) providing more detailed insights into the upcoming balance changes.
