All the News from the Dead by Daylight Blood Moon 2026 Event: Skins, Free Rewards, and More
The annual "Blood Moon" event returned to Dead by Daylight on March 26, 2026, offering players the chance to earn various free rewards. These include new skins for The Spirit and Orela Rose, additional cosmetic items, thousands of Iridescent Shards, and hundreds of thousands of Bloodpoints.
The event, which started on March 26, will be active until April 16, 2026.
During Dead by Daylight matches, Blood Generators replace four of the seven regular generators on each map. Survivors must repair these Blood Generators by filling a special Blood Vessel at Blood Pumps. Only one Survivor can interact with a Blood Pump at a time, and these will restock throughout the match. Transporting a full Vessel creates a distinct sound, and running will spill blood, leaving puddles for Killers to track.
The objectives of the "Blood Moon" event in Dead by Daylight revolve around repairing (for Survivors) or damaging (for Killers) Blood Generators. Achieving these goals unlocks a global Bloodpoint multiplier that can reach up to 55,000,000 points. This allows players to earn free skins for The Spirit and Orela Rose, weapons for The Dredge, The Plague, and The Nurse, T-shirts for Jeff, Meg, and Gabriel, two pendants, three medals, and other cosmetic items, all purchasable with the event's special currency.
Additionally, new skins for The Blight, The Deathslinger, Sable Ward, and Jake Park are available for purchase in the in-game store.
Finally, additional "Blood Moon" rewards can be claimed simply by logging into Dead by Daylight throughout the event.
Upon logging in, players will receive:
- 100 Bloody Trinkets for the first login.
- Iridescent Shards, distributed as 257 on March 26, 300 on April 1, and 75 daily thereafter, totaling 2000.
- 50,000 Bloodpoints daily until the end of the event, accumulating to a total of 1,050,000.
