The ABA League has recognized Zvezdan Mitrovic as its Coach of the Year, with the Montenegrin coach achieving a commanding victory in the voting. Mitrovic garnered an impressive 34.3% of the total votes.
Following closely behind is Joan Penarroya, the coach of Partizan Belgrade, who secured the second position with 17% of the votes. Mihai Silvasan, leading U-BT Cluj-Napoca, rounded out the top three, receiving 15.8% of the ballots.
Under Mitrovic’s guidance, Cedevita Olimpija enjoyed a strong season, finishing in 6th place in the league standings. This achievement mirrors their performance from the previous season, where they also concluded the regular season in the 6th spot.
