Konami Digital Entertainment has officially launched the “Road to Worlds” campaign in Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links. This event signals the beginning of the qualifiers for the prestigious Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2026 (WCS). The initiative invites duelists from around the globe to compete for a spot in the final tournament, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan, to crown the franchise’s next world champion.
Key Dates for Securing a Spot in the 2026 Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links World Championship
The qualification process for the 2026 Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links World Championship is divided into Speed Duel and Rush Duel categories, each structured into two competitive stages. For Speed Duel, “Stage 1” will run from June 1st to June 15th, while “Stage 2” will take place from June 12th to June 15th. For Rush Duel, “Stage 1” will occur from June 1st to June 8th, and “Stage 2” from June 5th to June 8th. Duelists who achieve a high rank in the second stage of either category will earn direct entry into the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links World Championship.
To celebrate this journey to the world finals, the game is offering a two-part campaign with numerous rewards. Upon logging in, players will receive iconic cards such as Crimson Blader (Speed/Prismatic) and alternative versions of Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl for the Rush Duel mode. Free structure decks will also be awarded: “Junk Enforcers” for Speed Duel and “Quest of Transam” for Rush Duel. Additionally, a daily login bonus will be available for twelve days, including Gems, UR and SR Dream Tickets, and Box Tokens. The content expansion also includes the release of the mini-box Eternal Genesis for Rush Duel and the main box Red Supernova for Speed Duel, both available starting May 21st.
