Nadaka's Unbeaten Streak Faces New Challenge in Kickboxing Debut at ONE SAMURAI 3

Champion Nadaka, the reigning ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion, is poised to test his remarkable 41-fight winning streak in an entirely new combat sports discipline. He will make his professional kickboxing debut at ONE SAMURAI 3, facing Myanmar's Har Ling Om in the main event. The event will be broadcast live from Yokohama Buntai in Yokohama, Japan, this Saturday, September 12.

The 25-year-old fighter has not tasted defeat since July 2019. His extensive accolades include ten Muay Thai World Titles across various weight classes, a prestigious Rajadamnern and Lumpinee Stadium double at 105 pounds, and an impressive career record of 67 wins and 6 losses. Much of his success can be attributed to the rigorous training structure at Eiwa Sports Gym, where Chairman Natsuo Nakagawa has meticulously developed a system that transformed a promising young talent into Japan's most decorated Muay Thai export.

Nadaka's journey into serious combat training began at Eiwa when he was eleven years old, following an experience at a local gym called Succeed that left him wanting more. "I started going there when I was eleven. From there, I started fighting a lot more often," he shared. He credits Chairman Nakagawa with his professional trajectory and his passion for Muay Thai: "I really don’t think I’d have gone pro without Chairman Nakagawa. He’s the reason I fell in love with Muay Thai as a sport."

Nadaka's Eiwa Teammates Also Compete Saturday

Nakagawa's influence extends beyond Nadaka, nurturing a stable of talented fighters. The Chairman supported Nadaka's development by sending him to Thailand, the birthplace of Muay Thai, for advanced training. There, he trained under the guidance of Khundong Por Thawatchai and occasionally with multi-time World Champion Pakorn PK Sialaytentmungkorn, who is also now a ONE Championship competitor.

Two other fighters from Eiwa Sports Gym are scheduled to compete on Saturday's card. Nadaka's cousin, Shimon Yoshinari, will face Suablack Tor Pran49 in a flyweight Muay Thai bout. Additionally, Ryuya Okuwaki, a former amateur rival of Nadaka's for four fights before joining Eiwa, will compete against Chokdee Maxjandee in the atomweight division. All three of these Eiwa fighters currently maintain undefeated records within ONE Championship.

Reflecting on his progress, Nadaka stated, "The biggest visible sign of growth was just winning fights – the results themselves, such as beating an opponent I hadn’t been able to defeat before. That was a period where I could really feel myself getting stronger."
