Electronic Arts and developer Full Circle have revealed an upcoming collaboration for Skate., the free-to-play title available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The developers stated that, influenced by fan feedback, they’ve shifted their content strategy and quality. An exclusive look showcased this new direction and their partnership with the renowned sports brand, Nike.

Full Circle is actively planning new content beyond rehashing previous game elements, aiming to enhance rather than merely rebuild the experience. They are exploring initial concepts, developing prototypes, and considering fan requests to improve Skate..

For Season 3, running from March to June, The Isle of Grom will be central, featuring ‘Darkslides’ and ‘Dark Catches,’ updated ‘Bonelesses,’ a new ‘Speedlines’ game mode, tattoos, and cosmetic gear. The Skate. Pass will also include brands like Adidas, Vans, and Thrasher, alongside new additions such as Huf and Jenkem. The game will also receive enhanced replay editor effects and seasonal events.

Upcoming features in development include a new social mode, ‘Meetups,’ and turn-based competitive modes like ‘Spot Battle’ and ‘S.K.A.T.E.’ A matchmaking system, a new world area, unlockable board wear, and ‘Finger Flips’ are also planned. The development team is discussing features such as private servers, ‘Underflips,’ player-created parks, leaderboards, proximity chat, classic areas from Skate. 1, 2, and 3, more classic game modes, and board shapes.

Nike SB Integration Elevates Skate. and Reflects New Direction

Collaborations and events are driven by community requests. Nike SB has significantly impacted skate culture through countless videos and by supporting generations of sponsored skaters. Nike SB footwear has shaped modern skate shoe aesthetics with iconic silhouettes like the Dunk and Blazer.

Nike SB Pop-Up Event

From April 14th to May 5th

  • Grom at Night (until June 2nd). The Isle of Grom is freely accessible during the Nike SB Pop-Up Event, with the Grom skatepark decorated with Nike SB signage.
  • Custom Nike SB Sneaker Boxes. Used sneaker boxes serve as decorative elements.
  • Nike sneaker models featured include the Dunk High, Dunk Low, and Blazer Mid, with some Nike SB Dunk High models inspired by the 2005 Dunk High Pro SBB release.
  • Cosmetics will be available for purchase as bundles or individually in the shop.
  • In addition to footwear, various apparel items will be available, including hoodies, baggy denim shorts, t-shirts, caps, and more.
  • Five challenges within the Nike SB Park, all named after historic Nike SB videos.
  • Custom tasks will directly reward players with cosmetic items: Dunk High sneakers, logo socks, and a Nike sticker.
