Preview Élie Okobo Secures 2-Year Contract with Dubai Basketball

Details are emerging regarding Élie Okobo’s move to Dubai. Following earlier reports of an agreement with the Emirati club, insider Andrea Calzoni now confirms that a contract has been signed. This deal is set to keep Okobo with Dubai Basketball until 2028.

This signing represents a significant acquisition for the Emirati club. Okobo, a French international, was averaging 11.2 points and 4.9 assists per game in the Euroleague this season, serving as a key player alongside Mike James. In addition to Mam Jaiteh, who has been with the team for a year, and the incoming Okobo, Dubai Basketball is reportedly in a strong position to welcome another player from Monaco: Jaron Blossomgame.

Jaron Blossomgame is said to be close to finalizing his transfer to Dubai Basketball. The American forward, standing at 2.01 meters and aged 32, is nearing the end of his contract with AS Monaco in June. Sources indicate that the transfer to Dubai Basketball is in the final stages of completion.
