Following Akali’s addition in early April, the development team for 2XKO has confirmed that a total of six champions will be released this year, an increase from the original plan of five characters annually. Notably, since Akali’s debut in February 2026, Senna was teased with a brief gameplay preview. Now, Riot has confirmed when Senna will join the 2XKO roster. The developer has announced the release date for Senna’s first trailer, the second character of 2XKO‘s inaugural season.
When is Senna’s reveal trailer for 2XKO coming out?
The development team revealed that Senna’s gameplay trailer for 2XKO is scheduled to premiere on June 2, 2026. This preview will offer an in-depth look at the new 2XKO champion’s combat mechanics. Riot Games’ announcement also highlighted that the character’s official release will occur just one week later, meaning Senna will be playable starting June 9, 2026.
Based on the previous brief glimpse, Senna appears to be a stance-based character. In her normal state, she might focus on zoning gameplay, as seen firing a projectile with her Relic Cannon. Conversely, her spectral form could be more oriented towards pressuring opponents with an offensive (rushdown) playstyle.
We’ll have to wait and see what her combat style brings when the preview releases in a week, definitively revealing how Senna fights in 2XKO.
