Preview 2026 World Cup: Top Serie A Stars by Value

As the 2026 World Cup approaches on June 11th, Italy will once again be absent from the tournament, a familiar disappointment for their football fans. However, supporters can still follow their favorite Serie A players competing on the global stage. Football Italia has compiled a list of the ten most valuable players from Italy’s top league who will participate in this summer’s World Cup.

Leading the pack is Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez. Having recently secured another Serie A title with Inter and finishing as the league’s top scorer in the 2025-26 season, Martínez, who also lifted the World Cup with Argentina four years ago, is valued at €85 million.

Joining Martínez on the Argentina squad is the 21-year-old Nico Paz. Valued at €80 million, Paz has spent the last two seasons on loan at Como but is reportedly set to return to Real Madrid this summer.

Securing the third spot is Juventus’s young Turkish talent, Kenan Yildiz. Also 21 years old, Transfermarkt rates Yildiz at €75 million. Despite reported interest from Arsenal, Juventus is firm on keeping their promising player.
