The long-running Ys series by Nihon Falcom, which first debuted in 1987, will see Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta launch in the North American market on April 28, 2026. Xseed Games officially announced the release date for this high-definition remaster of the original Ys: Memories of Celceta, which will be available for the Nintendo Switch console. Marvelous Europe will handle the release in European territories.
Nihon Falcom had previously released this title in Japan, both physically and digitally, in May 2025. The original Ys: Memories of Celceta first appeared on PlayStation Vita in Japan in September 2012, reaching North America in November 2013 and Europe in February 2014. Subsequent versions included a PC release in July 2018 and a PlayStation 4 adaptation in May 2019, which received an English localization in June 2020.

In Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta, players control Adol Christin, who awakens in the frontier town of Casnan with no memory of his identity or past. After encountering Duren, a thief who claims to know him, they venture into a local mine. This mission quickly reveals Adol’s formidable skills as a swordsman, attracting the attention of a Romun army general. She recruits them to map the Great Forest of Celceta, an uncharted territory from which no one has ever returned. During this perilous expedition, Adol must navigate natural dangers and uncover clues that will ultimately help him regain his lost memories.
