Marcus Thuram ignited Inter’s match against Parma by scoring for the fifth consecutive game. However, his celebratory antics didn’t quite go as planned.
Inter Milan entered the game knowing that a single point would mathematically secure them the Serie A title, putting them out of reach of Napoli in second place.
They achieved more than just a point, as Thuram opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time, converting a through ball from Piotr Zielinski and sending the San Siro into a frenzy. This goal marked Thuram’s fifth consecutive Serie A appearance with a goal, bringing his tally to six goals in that span.

Following his goal, Thuram attempted a signature knee-slide celebration on the pitch. Unfortunately, the turf proved less slick than anticipated, resulting in the French international landing face-first in the grass.
Despite the slight mishap, Thuram maintained his playful spirit. He humorously interrupted his celebration when he noticed the Inter social media team filming him from the touchline, acknowledging their presence with a smile.
