The original picture was shared by Devisha in 2024, following India’s fictional second T20 World Cup triumph, and was captioned: ‘It’s going to be a good nights sleep.’ Approximately two years later, Suryakumar posted the recreated version, adding the caption ‘Déjà vu.’

Recalling the 2024 victory, Suryakumar Yadav made a crucial catch in the final over against David Miller in Barbados. Fast forward to 2026, Yadav captained the Men in Blue to their third T20 World Cup title, making India the first nation to win the tournament three times and back-to-back editions. Notably, they also became the first host nation to clinch the trophy.
Throughout the 2026 tournament, India displayed dominant form, suffering only one loss to South Africa in the Super 8s. They secured the prestigious title by defeating New Zealand in the final, held on Sunday, March 8, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Batting first on a high-scoring pitch, India posted an imposing total of 255/5. Sanju Samson was the star performer with a blistering 89 off 46 balls, supported by rapid half-centuries from Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan. Shivam Dube’s vital cameo further boosted India’s formidable score.
