SEGA has revealed the release date for new content featuring Captain Majima and Goromaru in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Following the Mega Man themed DLC released on March 18th, SEGA previously announced that Goro Majima from Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Red from Angry Birds, and Arle from Puyo Puyo would be joining the game for free between April and May. Now, Captain Majima and Goromaru are set to join the roster.
The “Captain Majima Content Drop,” inspired by Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, will be available starting April 29th at 7:00 PM Colombian time (8:00 PM Mexican time). This update introduces Goro Majima as Captain Majima, along with his personal vehicle, the Goromaru. Players will also gain access to an exclusive set of themed emotes and sounds.
To celebrate, an in-game “Captain Majima Festival” will run from April 30th to May 3rd. Additionally, SEGA is hosting a “Free Weekend” from April 30th to May 4th, allowing players to experience the game at no cost. For those wishing to purchase the full version, a 40% discount will be available on Steam until May 7th as part of Golden Week promotions.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, previous generation consoles, and PC.
