Bungie has announced that to celebrate the game’s second season, they will be offering a full week of free play for all interested players. Here are all the details:
The free play week will take place from Monday, June 2nd, to Monday, June 9th, 2026. During these days, you can download Marathon for free on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC via Steam and play without restrictions.
All you need to do is find the game on the PS Store, Xbox Store, or Steam during the free play period and download the free version. Please note that a PS Plus subscription (on PlayStation) or Game Pass (on Xbox) is required to play.
Any progress you make during this free trial of Marathon will transfer to the paid version if you decide to purchase it. The game will also be available at a discount on all platforms for a few days at the start of Season 2, beginning June 2nd.
