Spalletti Confirmed as the Right Fit for Juventus with Contract Extension

Juventus CEO Damien Comolli is "delighted" with Luciano Spalletti's contract extension, stating, "It was immediately clear to everyone that Luciano was the right person to lead the team on a path of growth."

Official: Spalletti Extends Juventus Contract Until 2028

Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti has officially signed a contract extension with the club, keeping him at the helm until 2028. The Bianconeri initially announced the agreement by sharing a video of Spalletti informing the players of the news before a training session.

Shortly after, the Serie A giants confirmed the renewal in a statement that included Comolli's remarks: "We are delighted to have extended Luciano’s contract for a further two seasons," commented the Bianconeri director. Spalletti took over as coach at the end of October 2025, succeeding Igor Tudor, and had initially agreed to a short-term deal that was set to expire at the end of the current season.

Despite Juventus currently sitting fifth in the league, one point adrift of a Champions League qualification spot, the club has opted to continue with the Tuscan tactician, irrespective of which European competition they secure for the next season.

"Since Luciano joined our great Juventus family, he has had an immediate and very positive impact on our players, the whole Club, and the entire Bianconeri community," Comolli elaborated.

During Spalletti's tenure, Juventus has secured 17 victories in 31 matches, with six losses and eight draws. Their upcoming fixture is a significant encounter in the race for a top-four finish as they are set to visit in-form Atalanta on Saturday, April 11.
