Juventus Weighs Permanent Move for Jeremie Boga Amid Impressive Form
Juventus is reportedly pleased with Jeremie Boga's contributions and is leaning towards securing his services permanently for less than €5 million.
The former Sassuolo and Atalanta winger has made a positive impression since his January arrival, scoring two goals and assisting once in his seven substitute appearances.
What are the terms for Boga's permanent transfer to Juventus?
Boga joined the Allianz Stadium on loan from OGC Nice on winter transfer deadline day, with an option to make the move permanent for a sum of €4.8 million.
His compelling performances, coupled with the attractive financial terms of the deal, have reportedly prompted Juventus to consider making the transfer permanent well ahead of schedule.
The potential permanent transfer is also financially viable in terms of salary, with the 29-year-old expected to earn between €1.5 million and €2 million annually.
Before his move to Juventus, Boga had not played a competitive match since November 30. His tenure at OGC Nice effectively ended shortly after, when approximately 400 ultras physically assaulted him and the club's sporting director, blaming them for a six-game losing streak.
Boga described the ordeal as "a difficult time for my family and me," stating, "I still can’t go through the details, but I spent two months alone at home with my fitness coach and my wife." He added, "It was a bad moment, but now I’m happy to be out of that situation."
Reflecting on his new chapter, Boga expressed gratitude, saying, "Juventus saved me. It’s been a blessing."
