SNK has released a new anime short for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, detailing the transformation of Robert Garcia into the third Mr. Karate. The short, directed by Masami Obari, begins with the destruction of Marco Rodrigues’ dojo by Mr. Big. Despite Marco’s efforts, he is defeated.
Following the attack, Terry Bogard contacts Robert Garcia. Robert, already on his way wearing the Tengu mask, embraces the identity of the third Mr. Karate. He takes on the responsibility to seek revenge against Mr. Big and defend the honor of Kyokugenryu Karate. It’s revealed that Mr. Big orchestrated the attack to draw out Mr. Karate. The anime concludes with an epic confrontation between Mr. Karate and Mr. Big.
The addition of Mr. Karate marks the fifth character for the second season of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. The season will conclude in June with the arrival of Kenshiro, the protagonist of Hokuto no Ken.
