It was widely anticipated, and now it’s official: Fabien Romeyer is departing his sports management position at JDA Dijon to take the helm of sports direction at SCABB starting next season. Laurent Legname, the current coach of the Burgundian club, will succeed him as previously announced.

Under his tenure, the team not only returned to European competition but also secured the French Cup in 2024. At Saint-Chamond, there is strong optimism that Romeyer’s expertise will be instrumental in the club’s pursuit of promotion to Betclic Élite in the coming years.
The reaction from General Manager, Fabrice Flotte:
‘This appointment is in line with the club’s overall project unveiled just a year ago and reflects the SCABB management’s commitment to sustainably structuring its sporting project, strengthening its organization, and supporting its ambitions for the coming seasons at the first team level and in youth development.’
