How to Join Petit Planet's Closed Beta: The "Animal Crossing"-Style Game by Genshin Impact Creators
Chinese gaming giant Hoyoverse, also known as miHoYo, has several projects underway, including a cozy game reminiscent of Animal Crossing called Petit Planet, which is soon to enter a closed beta phase. If you're interested in participating in this test, continue reading for details on how to register and the key dates.
The closed beta, officially named "Stellar Voyage Test," is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
Interested participants should visit the game's official website at https://planet.hoyoverse.com/en-us/home and select the "Pre-Register & Join Beta" option. You will need to log in with your existing HoyoPass account (the same one used for other Hoyoverse titles) or create a new one.
Unfortunately, the beta test will not be available in Spanish. Furthermore, it will only be accessible on PC and mobile devices (iOS and Android). While the studio has stated the title is "in development for other platforms," no official console announcements have been made yet.
During the Petit Planet closed beta, players will assume the role of a "Planetist" within the Sea of Stars. Their task will be to shape their own planet, engaging in activities such as farming, fishing, beach strolling, and cooking alongside adorable in-game creatures and other players.
Petit Planet currently does not have a confirmed release date. It will initially launch for PC and mobile devices, with potential future releases on consoles like PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
