Apex Legends Season 30: Corrupted Attachments, Bloodhound Rework, Map Changes, and More

Significant changes are coming to Respawn and Electronic Arts' battle royale game. Season 30 of Apex Legends, titled 'Marca', is launching soon with highly anticipated updates such as a Bloodhound rework, alterations to the World's Edge map, new gameplay mechanics with Loba and Rampart, and the introduction of Corrupted Attachments. Let's dive into what's new.

This season will commence on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 11 am (Mexico), 12 pm (Colombia), 1 pm (Chile), 2 pm (Argentina), and 7 pm (Spain).

Bloodhound Rework

The most significant update in Apex Legends Season 30 'Marca' is a near-complete reinvention of how to play Bloodhound. With an improved passive ability, players can now see a glowing trail left by moving enemies, and White Ravens fly further and activate simply by being looked at.

Their newly redesigned Tactical ability offers prolonged full-body scans followed by timed instant scans, allowing targets to remain visible for an extended period.

Their ultimate ability is entirely new and is called Mantle of the Almighty. When activated, it can camouflage any allied player within its range, increasing their movement speed and granting threat vision while hidden. Lingering outside the area will maintain camouflage for a short while longer, but firing a weapon or taking damage will negate it.

The new enhancements added to Bloodhound's rework include:

• Hidden Vision: Enhances the tactical ability when using the ultimate, hiding it from enemy detection.
• Bird's Eye: Sends White Ravens to scout a second enemy squad independently.
• True Predation: Re-enables camouflage after firing a weapon.

Changes to Loba and Rampart

Bloodhound isn't the only Legend receiving changes in Season 30. Let's look at the updates for Loba and Rampart players.

• Loba: Her ultimate ability, Black Market Boutique, will have a reduced cooldown. Her tactical ability moves faster and covers more ground.
• Rampart: She can move faster while firing Sheila. Her Amped Cover builds faster and resists more damage, and she will progress much faster through locked upgrades.

Corrupted Attachments

Corrupted Attachments are new items that introduce new abilities in the late game while also applying a disadvantage.

Alongside this new system, the way loot is obtained will also change. Weapon and extended weapon supply bins will disappear, arsenals will be redesigned, and the respawn of loot bins will also see certain alterations.

World's Edge Map Changes

With the arrival of Season 30, the popular World's Edge map will receive aesthetic changes inspired by the ancient gods from Apex Legends' lore. It will feature new points of interest and auroras in the night sky.

The new points of interest are:

• Climatizer: A location reclaimed by the Bloodhound Tribe, featuring architecture from the East Village and a Longhouse.
• War Camp: A surveillance post with a combat arena.
• Arboreal Settlement: A camp with significant vertical movement.
