Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis conveyed an Easter message to the Partenopei faithful, assuring them that the team will uphold its competitive edge and consistency, regardless of any potential unforeseen circumstances.
Extending his greetings to the club’s supporters, players, technical staff, management, employees, and their families, De Laurentiis acknowledged the solemn global situation. “A Holy Easter that falls in a tragic time due to ongoing wars and their consequences on the people directly affected, as well as the economic repercussions we will have to face,” he wrote.
Despite these challenging times, the club president reaffirmed his dedication to prudent and responsible management. He pledged that this approach would enable Napoli to consistently compete at the highest level, a standard he insists has been maintained since he assumed leadership of the club.

De Laurentiis underscored that while “unpredictable factors” can sway match outcomes and a season’s course, the club’s enduring continuity is paramount. He committed to preserving this continuity, concluding his message with “For Napoli Sempre!”
This promise of stability emerges amidst ongoing speculation regarding the future of Italian tactician Antonio Conte. While De Laurentiis did not directly mention Conte, discussions about potential future changes could very well involve the coach. Reports suggest Conte is a leading candidate to become Italy’s national team coach, possibly replacing Gennaro Gattuso.

Furthermore, it is rumored that the Partenopei boss might be tempted to return to the Azzurri’s helm, and De Laurentiis may not stand in the manager’s way, particularly if Giovanni Malagò is elected as the new FIGC President. Conte previously coached the Italy national team from 2014 to 2016, guiding them to the Euro 2016 quarter-finals before taking on the role of Chelsea coach.
