Reports suggest Conte is a leading candidate to become Italy’s national team coach, possibly replacing Gennaro Gattuso.
Furthermore, it is rumored that the Partenopei boss might be tempted to return to the Azzurri’s helm, and De Laurentiis may not stand in the manager’s way, particularly if Giovanni Malagò is elected as the new FIGC President.
