Remedy Entertainment has officially released the PC technical requirements for Control: Resonant, which is slated for release on September 24th. Following its debut trailer at last year’s The Game Awards, Control: Resonant reappeared in June’s State of Play. During this presentation, Remedy took the opportunity to announce that the game is now available for pre-purchase, and today we have learned the minimum specifications required to run the game on PC.

The game will mandatorily require the use of an SSD storage unit. While the current specifications do not detail the target resolution or frame rates for these recommendations, the community already anticipates that running the title at 4K with maximum ray tracing will demand a system—particularly in terms of RAM—significantly more powerful than what the Finnish developer has confirmed. Remedy plans to provide additional information regarding Control: Resonant‘s optimization in the months leading up to its launch.
