Currently playing for the Phoenix Mercury in the WNBA, the French-Cameroonian player was expected to join Bourges at the end of the American season. Similar to the previous season, her arrival date was contingent on her franchise’s progress, which could have led to her absence during the initial weeks of competition, particularly in the Euroleague and the French championship.
“After several exchanges marked by mutual respect and understanding, the club and the player have deemed it preferable, for both parties, to terminate the contract that bound them,” the Cher club stated.
