Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles is set to host the Western premiere of the CGI short film, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon the Miracle: Moon Palace Chapter Deluxe. Based on Naoko Takeuchi’s iconic manga and anime, this original computer-generated animation first debuted at Universal Studios Japan’s popular Cool Japan event. Tickets are now available for this limited-time engagement, spanning 12 select nights: April 23-25, May 1-3, May 7-9, and May 14-16, 2026.
This captivating short film, presented in Japanese with subtitles, will be screened at the DreamWorks Theatre. The CGI anime’s plot follows the heroine Super Sailor Moon as she confronts an unexpected foe seeking the Legendary Silver Crystal during a magical ball at the Moon Palace. With the audience’s support, Super Sailor Moon must overcome her adversary to restore peace to the Moon Palace.

Universal Fan Fest Nights is a separately ticketed, after-hours event celebrating various fandoms. It offers immersive and interactive experiences, crafted by the theme park’s renowned entertainment creative team in collaboration with industry experts.
Featuring a wide array of inspiring categories, Fan Fest Nights invites attendees to explore diverse worlds that honor beloved “geek culture” characters. The event will also include live entertainment, character interactions, cosplay opportunities, photo ops, and a selection of food, beverages, and exclusive merchandise.
Additionally, guests can enjoy select theme park attractions that will be operational during the event, including Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Flight of the Hippogriff, Jurassic World – The Ride, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, Transformers: The Ride–3D, Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride, and The Simpsons Ride.
