Moustapha Fall Back in Action: Resumes Training with Olympiacos
French international Moustapha Fall has finally made his return to team training with Olympiacos, following a severe knee injury sustained last season. The injury occurred during the third game of the Greek Championship playoff finals against Panathinaikos.
While his full return to practice is a positive step, it doesn't necessarily mean significant playing time will be immediately available. Olympiacos already boasts a formidable roster of centers, including Nikola Milutinov, Donta Hall, and Tyrique Jones, ensuring robust competition for minutes.
"For the past few days, he has been training regularly with the team, including 5-on-5 drills. Gradually, he just needs to regain his fitness to become one of the players we utilize. As for how, under what specific conditions, within which system, or on what day, I cannot say definitively yet," commented head coach Giorgos Bartzokas.
Meanwhile, Olympiacos is gearing up for EuroLeague Matchday 33, where they will face Valencia on the road this Tuesday. The Greek squad currently holds an impressive second place in the league standings, with a record of 22 wins and 11 losses.
