Bogdan Bogdanovic has faced a challenging season, participating in only 21 games and frequently remaining on the bench without entering play. His current average of 7.3 points per game is a significant drop from his career NBA average of 14.0 points. This situation has intensified media speculation regarding a possible return to his former club, Partizan Belgrade.
Addressing these rumors during an interview on the RTS channel, Bogdanovic commented:
“I follow the news and know as much as you do; I see everything reported in the media. I cannot make that decision right now. I don’t understand the constant discussion. I still have seven games left, plus the playoffs, and my focus is entirely on the present. I’m not thinking about what will happen next year or even next month. I am committed to continuing my work and training, hoping to be in optimal shape for the start of the playoffs.”
Before signing with the Sacramento Kings in 2017, Bogdan Bogdanovic played for Partizan for four years and then spent three years with Fenerbahçe. He also showcased a strong performance at the Paris Olympic Games with Serbia, contributing to their bronze medal win with an impressive average of 18.3 points.
