While the modern iteration of Tifa Lockhart in Final Fantasy VII Remake / Rebirth is widely recognized by younger players today, long-time fans fondly recall her original 1997 design for the first PlayStation. Following the recent collectible figure based on FFVII Rebirth, the classic Tifa design is making a comeback with Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Structure Arts figure line.

This new figure model, unveiled during the Shizuoka Hobby Show 2026, features Tifa’s proportions as seen in the animated cutscenes and battles of FFVII, rather than the ‘super deformed’ style of the exploration segments. Unlike her reimagined counterpart, this classic version lacks thigh-high stockings, shorts, or a sports bra under her white blouse. Due to its less realistic art style, her legs appear noticeably longer in proportion to her body, and her bust is larger than her abdomen and waist.

The Tifa model offers interchangeable facial expressions, allowing for a choice between a neutral, slightly smiling expression and a battle cry.

The FFVII Structure Arts line also includes a Cloud model released in April, with a Sephiroth figure scheduled for August. Each is priced at $80 USD, and it’s likely the Tifa figure will carry a similar price tag on the Square Enix online store.

We will provide further updates once the release date for the Tifa Final Fantasy VII Structure Arts collectible figure is announced.
