Nintendo has announced worldwide price adjustments for the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 systems, along with Nintendo Switch Online services. The price for the Switch 2 will rise from $449.99 USD / $629.99 CAD / €469.99 to $499.99 USD / $679.99 CAD / €499.99 in Western markets. In Japan, the Switch 2 will see its price increase from ¥49,980 to ¥59,980. Prices for the current Nintendo Switch models will only be affected in Japan.

These revised suggested retail prices for Switch and Switch 2 in the United States, Canada, and Europe are a response to changing market conditions and global business outlooks. The price adjustments outside of Japan, as outlined above, are planned considering that the impact of various market condition shifts is expected to be medium to long-term.
All listed prices include taxes. The price revision will take effect on September 1, 2026, for the United States, Canada, and Europe. In Japan, these changes are effective from May 25, 2026.
Nintendo Switch Online, operating as a unified global service, will also see price revisions to ensure regional harmony. In Japan, the following price adjustments for Nintendo Switch Online will be implemented starting July 1:
