Square Enix has unveiled a trailer commemorating the 15th anniversary of the NieR series. The first public presentation occurred at the ‘NieR 15th Anniversary Exhibition: Unerasable Records’ in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, in August 2025. Although the series officially debuted 16 years ago on April 22, 2010, it is now celebrating its fifteenth anniversary.

Tickets are now available for “NieR: Orchestra Concert 12026 [YoRHa],” a symphonic concert tour scheduled to visit major cities across the United States. This tour, commencing on August 7 in Seattle, is being produced by the same team behind the “NieR: Orchestra Concert 12024 [The End of Data].” The performances will be led by conductor Eric Roth, featuring a full orchestra and choir, alongside original NieR vocalists J’Nique Nicole and Emi Evans.

The concert program also includes recorded recitations by Yui Ishikawa (No. 2), Reina Tanaka (No. 4), Mio Hanana (No. 21), and Chihira Mochida (No. 16). These recitations will explore episodes related to the Pearl Harbor Descent Operation. Series director Yoko Taro and composer Keiichi Okabe are also slated to attend the Seattle performance.

NieR Anniversary Exhibition

Earlier, on February 28, Square Enix released the NieR Series 15th Anniversary BOX in Japan, priced at 32,780 yen (approximately $210). This collector’s edition includes a 210mm scale figure of 2B, the protagonist of NieR: Automata; Fio, the protagonist of NieR Re[in]carnation; and the protagonist of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…. It also features the “NieR Jazz Arrangement Album” from the CD Dinner Show and the “NieR Weapon Story Book.”

Square Enix has announced that NieR: Automata has surpassed 10 million units sold, while NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… has sold over 2 million units to date. The anniversary video concludes with the message, “NieR: Automata will continue…”, hinting that the story of 2B, 9S, and A2 may not be over.
