He specifically lauded Cristian Chivu, who clinched both the Scudetto and Coppa Italia in his debut full Serie A season as coach. “This is Cristian Chivu’s Scudetto, whom we chose for his fundamental quality: courage,” Marotta stated. “Chivu has brought invaluable experience, becoming a guiding presence both on and off the pitch.
