Quarter Up, the developer behind Invincible Vs, has announced the dates and details for the game’s first open beta period, scheduled for 2026. Additionally, the playable character roster for Invincible Vs continues to expand with the revelation of Allen the Alien, who joins as the game’s sixteenth fighter. With this addition, the fighting game, based on Robert Kirkman’s work, is now just two characters away from completing its initial lineup of 18.
How Does Allen the Alien Fight in Invincible Vs?
Unlike other large characters, Allen is not strictly classified as a grappler, as his reveal trailer did not showcase command grabs. Instead, he is presented as a standard brawler equipped with tools designed to mitigate the typical disadvantages large characters face against zoning playstyles. Allen possesses a taunt-like movement that allows him to absorb multiple hits without interrupting his animation. This armor ability can be canceled into other attacks at almost any time, enabling immediate retaliations after absorbing a hit. Finally, the trailer highlights a vertical movement with invincibility priority which, upon connecting, allows for extended combo sequences.
When is the Invincible Vs Open Beta and Which Characters Will Be Available?

Quarter Up has also confirmed that a new open beta test will take place from April 9th to 11th, 2026. This testing phase will allow users to assess server stability and try out 10 characters and six stages that will be featured in the final version of the game.
