Preview Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves – New Krauser Bug Mimics Dio’s The World

Following a previous fix for a REV Guard bug in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves related to Krauser’s update, a new critical bug has been discovered in Version 2.0.2 that completely disrupts the game’s mechanics. The issue heavily involves Wolfgang Krauser, who was added to the roster on April 24th. This bug makes him resemble Dio with his Stand, The World, from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.

SNK has officially recognized this fault in the combat system and issued a statement apologizing for the inconvenience. They have assured players that a patch to correct this issue will be released in the near future, potentially coinciding with the arrival of Mr. Karate later this month.

How the New Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Bug with Krauser Works

The new bug was first highlighted by player Armisael RM. It allows Krauser to completely freeze his opponent by hitting them with a super move immediately after triggering a Guard Crush. Executing specific actions after this sequence results in unintended game behavior, leaving the opponent trapped in an extreme slow-motion state. This prevents them from performing any defensive or counter-attack actions for an extended period, which can be further prolonged with precise execution.

This exploit grants Krauser the ability to hit his opponent indefinitely, enabling “touch-of-death” (TOD) combos. Demonstrations of the bug have shown Krauser executing continuous combos in various ways. He can even exploit the opponent’s frozen state upon waking up to continue attacking, re-triggering the Guard Crush and defeating them with only weak hits.
