JL Bourg has brilliantly secured its spot in the Eurocup semi-finals, prevailing in front of its home crowd. Despite a somewhat sluggish start, with “the Bressans” trailing 18-23 at the end of the first quarter, Freddy Fauthoux’s players managed to find their rhythm to turn the tide and clinch a victory with a final score of 83-79.
Adam Mokoka notably shone, finishing as the game’s top scorer with a total of 20 points, a crucial performance for “the Jeu”. This qualification holds historic significance, marking the second time the club has reached this stage of the competition. It’s worth remembering that in the 2023/24 season, JL Bourg had already made headlines by reaching the Eurocup grand final, ultimately losing to Paris Basketball.
