Newton, Kansas – The highly anticipated Inaugural Midwest Adaptive Open successfully concluded at Sand Creek Station on September 10th and 11th, marking a significant milestone in adaptive golf. After months of meticulous planning in collaboration with multiple Golf Associations, the event proudly hosted thirty adaptive golfers from across the nation. Participants showcased incredible talent and determination, navigating the course with various disabilities including arm and leg impairments, amputations, visual impairments, and neurological conditions. Delp and Sedlak distinguished themselves with outstanding performances, ultimately emerging victorious in their respective categories. This landmark tournament not only celebrated athletic achievement but also championed inclusivity and the spirit of adaptive sports.
