After an eleven-year run, Yuki Tabata’s manga series Black Clover is heading towards its conclusion with the release of chapters 390 through 392. These chapters will represent the manga’s “Super Climax,” addressing the aftermath of the final confrontation with the primary antagonist, whose defeat was officially marked in chapter 389 earlier this year. With the release of these concluding chapters, volume 38 is expected to be the final tankōbon for Black Clover.
When Will Chapters 390, 391, and 392, Marking the End of the Black Clover Manga, Be Released?
Following its transition from the weekly Weekly Shonen Jump to the quarterly Jump GIGA in 2023, Shueisha has confirmed that the Black Clover manga’s finale will be published on Friday, May 1, 2026, in the spring edition of Jump GIGA. This special issue will also feature a color page, exclusive merchandise, and an interview with author Yuki Tabata and Asta’s anime voice actor, Gakuto Kajiwara, in commemoration of the manga’s end. Due to time zone differences, readers in Colombia, Mexico, and other parts of Latin America will be able to access chapters 390 and 391 on Manga Plus starting Thursday, April 30.
As part of the farewell campaign, Shonen Jump+ has launched a period of free access to previous chapters. From April 17 to April 23, readers can enjoy chapters 1 through 241 of the Black Clover manga for free through its official digital platforms. It remains unclear if this promotion will be extended to Manga Plus.
